24 April 2009 1,319 views No Comment

I don’t know if you’ve ever seen Nick Vujicic before. He was born with no arms and no legs, but despite those inflictions he is fully independent. He has a wonderful mental attitude and makes me appreciate just how easy I have things in comparison. We take so many things for granted in our lives, it’s hard sometimes to realize just how lucky we are.

Nobody trips over mountains. It is the small pebble that causes you to stumble. Pass all the pebbles in your path and you will find that you have crossed the mountain. -Author Unknown

“It’s too hard” or “it can’t be done” are phrases I hear way too often. Most people when given a difficult problem automatically look at the no-can-do side of the situation. They focus on the things which they have no control or there is no immediate solution rather then taking action on the things they can do something about. Henry Ford was once asked by Napoleon Hill if there was a problem that he could not overcome. Mr. Ford said that he didn’t believe there was. According to Napoleon, Mr Ford said that whenever he if faced with a difficult situation and a solution is not known, the first thing he did was begin working on the things that he can do something about. By the time he reached the spot where there was no solution, the problem would have already been solved or a solution was already developed to resolve the problem.

Take a few minutes to watch this video and remember that no matter how hard things may seem, never give up.
